Integrated Literacy Activities

Parent involvement in early literacy is directly connected to academic achievement. Children need parents to be their reading role models with daily practice in order to navigate successfully through beginning literacy skills. Parents will be given strategies that will encourage reading success in the children.  These stragegies will be modeled and facilitated as part of the program.

 

Parents will also be given assistance in providing a literacy rich environment in the home.
